Biography/ Philosophy of Care
William C. “Chuck” Coulter, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Norton Healthcare specializing in pulmonary critical care. He earned his bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington.
Chuck has a background in cardiology, pulmonary critical care medicine and emergency medicine. He enjoys his role as a physician assistant because it allows him to spend time getting to know patients and educating them about their health issues while developing a treatment plan together.
He is a native of Lincoln County, Kentucky, and an avid outdoorsman who finds time to hunt, fish and hike when away from work. Chuck also holds a private pilot’s license, so he and his wife enjoy flying and experiencing new places together.
