Wahaaj A. Khan, M.D., is a pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine physician with Norton Pulmonary Specialists. He earned his medical degree from Ziauddin University in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey. He completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, followed by fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Corewell Health/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dr. Khan cares for adults with a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders, from common conditions such as asthma, chronic cough and sleep apnea to more complex illnesses such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis and respiratory failure. His clinical interests include advanced bronchoscopy, lung mass evaluation, interstitial lung disease and sleep apnea. He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that improves clinical outcomes and quality of life. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach that addresses not only the physical aspects of illness, but also the emotional and psychological needs of patients and their families.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Khan enjoys soccer, cricket, tennis and pickleball. He also enjoys hiking in national parks, cooking and exploring cuisines.
