Taylor J. Burkhart, D.O., is a hospital medicine physician with Norton Hospitalists. He earned his medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. As a hospitalist, Dr. Burkhart provides care for hospitalized patients, acting as a primary care provider and collaborating with other specialists. Dr. Burkhart strives to provide the most up-to-date evidence-based medicine and treats his patients equally. Dr. Burkhart's interest in the biology of human diseases and being exposed to the medical system at an early age led to his desire to help patients. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and weightlifting.
