I'm Dr Som's patient but he was booked up the scheduled me with Dr Goldstin. Dr Som saw I was a patient so he made the time and effort to come in and treat me. I was very happy he took the effort to do this!

I generally do not provide comments in these surveys but I feel I must in this case. I wish only to state quite emphatically that Dr. Som is the finest PCP I've ever had. I cannot describe how thorough he is as a clinician and how dedicated he is to his practice. Of particular note is his absolute familiarity with my condition and records with each visit. He has a remarkable memory for previous conversations we have had and he always reviews my medical records prior to the visit which makes visits seem quite personal. He has an encyclopedic intellect but it is coupled with a refreshingly easy-going demeanor. He is professional without being stiff, candid without being condescending and above all, utterly thorough and prepared for our visits. In my particular case there isn't much that can be done to deal with my chronic issues but I always have the feeling that Dr. Som is considering my underlying health issues when dealing with collateral or concomitant issues like flu (or most recently diverticulitis.) To the person reading this, I truly want to express my sincerity and gratitude for Dr. Som. His practice, academic recall and deportment should be evaluated as a "gold standard" for other doctors to learn from. In general I am consistently amazed by Norton and their affiliates for the excellent standard of care they provide. Dr. Som sits at the very top of an of organization that is already generally excellent, which makes him quite rare. He has earned the highest praise I can possibly give as a patient.

Knows my history and cares about my care. Always willing to answer my questions. Sent me to an allergist who diagnosed me with asthma. Something no other allergist had in 40 years of being treated for allergies.

Dr. Som is excellent. He is courteous and friendly. He answers all my healthcare related questions and offers guidance as needed. My appointment was for my annual ck up but before the appointment I started having back issues. Because I had already tried steroids and had several weeks of PT, Dr. Som arranged to have an MRI. Someone called me the same day to schedule the MRI.

Dr. Som is always excellent, takes the time to make sure all questions/concerns are addressed. He always follows-up promptly.
