Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Dr. Sean M. Griffin, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing at Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics. Dr. Griffin specializes in hip and knee reconstruction, trauma care, and sports medicine. He joined Ellis & Badenhausen in 2019 and integrates robotic-assisted techniques for joint replacements, with expertise in anterior hip and outpatient procedures. A graduate of the University of Louisville, he completed his residency at the University of Florida and a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Griffin also serves as team physician for Trinity High School Football.
