Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Michelle D. Peterson, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner with Norton Immediate Care Centers. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma, , and her master's degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing, .
Michelle sees patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. She enjoys getting to know her patients, their families and all aspects of their care. She believes that the key to maintaining health is prevention, including lifestyle choices, exercise, immunizations and screenings to help prevent chronic illnesses.
Michelle is originally from Oklahoma, and now lives in Louisville with her husband. In her free time, Michelle enjoys racing sailboats on the Ohio River, a hobby and passion she indulges in most Wednesday nights.
