Meredith F Cottrell, PA-C

Meredith Cottrell, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Norton Surgical Specialists.. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Louisville.  She also earned a master’s degree in sports psychology and motor behavior from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

In her role, Meredith assists in the operating room, reviews imaging and consults with patients prior to procedures, and provides essential follow-up care. She is skilled in postoperative evaluations, including suture and drain removal, and is focused on ensuring patients return to their daily routines safely and confidently.

Meredith is passionate about patient empowerment and shared decision-making. She works to ensure each individual feels informed and engaged throughout their care journey, with a focus on restoring function and quality of life.

Outside of work, Meredith enjoys reading, playing pickleball and exploring national parks.
