Melissa D. Wright, DNP, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Louisville School of Nursing, Kentucky, and her doctorate in nursing practice from Spalding University, in Louisville. Melissa is board certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
Melissa has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care to patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions and is committed to continuing education and professional development to stay at the forefront of her field.

We came 2 terms w/ the treatment of my condition, & she made fairly quick appointments 4 me 2 have a stress test & echocardiogram.She then expressed that my treatment would b contingent upon results of my 2 above listed test. Thanks 4 her kind & professional demeanor advising me of my adverse health factors. I was pleased w/ my visit 4 a possible serious health condition periodically Irregular heart beats/ extra heart beats.She made me feel confident about my future possible health condition w/ out causing a.scare.

They are amazing and actually listen and put in as much effort as they can and sometimes it's hard to find that with doctors. She referred me to a Neurologist in Norton and I immediately got a call for an appointment which usually doesn't happen and I am very grateful.
