About Maurice Linkous
Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Maurice D. Linkous, M.D., is a diagnostic radiologist and medical director of DXP Imaging, which provides radiology services to Norton Healthcare. He also serves as chairman of radiology at Norton Audubon Hospital and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital. Dr. Linkous earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at Washington University School of Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Linkous has expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and spinal procedures, with a clinical focus on acute and chronic back conditions.
He has served as president of the Greater Louisville chapter of the Kentucky Radiological Society and, for the past two years, as a delegate to the National Practice Leaders Forum of the American College of Radiology.
Dr. Linkous is originally from Virginia. When he isn't working, he enjoys spending time on the soccer field, both as a player and a coach.
