Mackenzie B Welch, APRN

Mackenzie B. Welch, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. She is certified in family nursing practice and has experience in pediatric intensive care, pediatric neurology and internal medicine.

In family medicine, Mackenzie cares for patients of all ages, focusing especially on adolescents through older adults. She provides consistent, individualized and patient-centered care to help improve current health and long-term well-being.

Her philosophy of care is to act as an advocate for each patient. She creates personalized care plans based on individual needs and treats every patient with compassion and respect, while supporting their right to make informed choices about their health.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her petite goldendoodle, Mya. She is a big sports fan who loves football season, especially cheering on the UofL Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens. She also enjoys going to the gym, living a healthy lifestyle, and dreams of one day living on Anna Maria Island.
