Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Kayla M. Windle, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates – Shepherdsville. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky, and a master’s degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University, Versailles, Kentucky.
Kayla has always enjoyed helping and taking care of people, inspired by assisting her dad during a challenging time in his sickness. She believes in healthy patient-to-provider relationships, emphasizing the importance of listening and making her patients feel comfortable discussing anything with her.
Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, Kayla now calls Louisville home. In her free time, she loves spending quality moments with her family and friends, along with her newly adopted dog. When not at the gym, Kayla enjoys traveling and exploring new surroundings.

This was the first time I met with this provider as I recently moved to KY. I was astounded at the kindness, courtesy and respect I received. They took their time, listened to my concerns and health goals and provided encouragement and information. I will look forward to visits in the future with less trepidation and anxiety than I have felt in the past with many other health care professionals. Glad I moved to Kentucky!
