Kathryn Melvin, APRN, CNM, is a nurse practitioner and nurse midwife. She earned her master’s degree in nursing and her certification as a nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut.
Kathryn specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She works with women ages 13 to 85 to provide prenatal and postnatal care, labor and delivery services, and routine gynecologic care. Her focus areas are depression and anxiety in pregnancy and diabetes in pregnancy.

To be honest I was late for my appointment but arrived within 15 minutes grace period. Appointment at 9:15 am, I arrived at 9:23am. So it was my fault, I understand, just glad to still be seen

The provider showed care and concern by providing a possible prognosis in regards to my new medication and my high blood pressure. She also explained this to me well enough that I felt I was able to make an informed decision. She answered any questions I had and handled my procedure with care.
