Julie F Craven, APRN

Julie F. Craven, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Orthopedic Institute. Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing in Lexington and her master’s degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Julie’s care philosophy is to provide optimal and accessible care that leads to effective and safe outcomes for her patients and their families. She is passionate about ensuring patients maximize their health care outcome potential through family-focused and collaborative care approaches. Her goals for her orthopedic patients are increased mobility and strength, pain reduction, stopping disease progression, and better balance and fall prevention.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, attending her children’s sporting events, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals.
