Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Jonathan A. Hacker, DNP, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Cancer Institute. He earned his doctorate in nursing from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing in Lexington. He is board-certified as an acute care nurse practitioner.
Jonathan and his team provide specialized treatments for cancer patients using chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and hormone therapy. Working closely with patients, he manages treatment plans, help reduce side effects of treatment, and supports patients throughout the span of care and beyond.
Jonathan, is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate cancer care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. His approach reflects Norton Healthcare’s mission to serve the community and provide care that is both responsive and respectful. He values clear communication, shared decision-making, and treating every person with dignity.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys traveling domestically and abroad, kayaking, music festivals, and playing board and card games.
