Biography/ Philosophy of Care
John N. Burkett, M.D., is a radiologist with DXP Imaging, which provides radiology services to Norton Healthcare.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington. He completed his residency and fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Burkett specializes in musculoskeletal radiology, sports medicine, orthopedic oncology, and interventional pain management procedures, including vertebroplasty, radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation and imageguided biopsy.
Dr. Burkett is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, trail running, mountain biking, woodworking and spending time with his family.
