Jessica R. Richards, DNP, AGACNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Pulmonology Specialists. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Spalding University in Louisville, and her doctorate in nursing practice, focused on adult gerontology acute care, from the University of Louisville School of Nursing. Jessica is passionate about critical care and is dedicated to helping patients with complex medical diagnoses. She strives to ensure that her patients and their families feel informed, empowered and safe through comprehensive, inclusive and compassionate care. With extensive experience at the bedside, Jessica understands the importance of listening to patients and fostering a sense of autonomy in their health care decisions. Originally from Cuba, Jessica moved to Louisville at age 19. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, dancing, listening to live jazz, and engaging in creative hobbies such as photography and drawing.
