Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Dr. Allen received his bachelor’s degree from Centre College in Danville, Ky., and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Royal Brisbane Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. Dr. Allen has been in practice for nine years and has performed more than 2,000 surgical weight loss procedures. Dr. Allen joined Norton Weight Management Services as director of bariatric surgery in 2009.

The whole office is amazing ms.toni the scheduler the front desk dj all of them dr.allen is amazing .I was so scared but I promise you he is gifted. I absolutely love the care he provided and Ashley omg super sweet .very kind and caring.the nurse navigator all of them are compassionate but very serious about your health..mentally and physically.

This was my first visit with Dr. Allen. I was a little nervous going into the appointment but after speaking with the first medical assistant I was at ease. When Dr. Allen entered the room, his personality and willingness to listen to everything I said made me more comfortable and gave me the opportunity to discuss everything I needed.
