Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Loannis Milioglou, M.D., is a cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He earned his medical degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, where he also completed a master’s degree in medical research methodology. Dr. Milioglou completed his residency in internal medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville.
Milioglou has advanced training in heart failure, critical care and interventional cardiology research. He has written or co-written more than 15 peer-reviewed journal articles and multiple conference presentations, focusing on cardiovascular interventions, heart failure and the intersection of machine learning with cardiac outcomes.
Fluent in English and Greek, and conversational in French and German, Dr. Milioglou brings a global and research-driven perspective to patient care.
