Biography/ Philosophy of Care

Hussayn Alrayes, D.O., is an interventional structural cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. He completed his internal medicine residency, general cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship and structural cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Health. He is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology.

Dr. Alrayes repairs heart arteries and valves using advanced interventional techniques aimed at improving patients’ quality of life and longevity. His patient care philosophy centers on not only extending patients’ lives, but also enhancing their overall well-being through personalized, compassionate care.

Outside of work, Dr. Alrayes enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with his family.
