Harsimran S Brar, MD

Harsimran S. Brar, M.D., is a pulmonary and critical care physician with Norton Pulmonary Specialists.  He earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, and completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the UofL School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.

Dr. Brar provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of lung conditions and critically ill patients. He provides care for patients with chronic and acute pulmonary diseases, and also for hospitalized patients in the intensive care unit and general wards. He is highly skilled in advanced procedures including bronchoscopies, thoracentesis, chest tube placement and tracheostomies. His clinical expertise includes management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases and complex pulmonary conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Brar enjoys attending soccer matches to cheer on Louisville City FC, running, hiking, cooking, watching movies and reading Punjabi literature.
