Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Emmanuel A. Nidhiry, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Norton Cancer Institute. He earned his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi University Government Medical College Kottayam in Kerala, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where also completed dual fellowships in medical oncology and hematology.
Dr. Nidhiry has over two decades of experience in treating a wide range of cancers and blood disorders, including complex and rare malignancies. He has been involved in several clinical trials and research studies throughout his career, with a particular focus on improving treatment protocols for hematologic cancers and increasing access to cutting-edge therapies in community settings.
Dr. Nidhiry is known for his compassionate approach to patient care and his commitment to personalized medicine. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients and their families, ensuring that treatment plans align with each patient’s goals and values. His care philosophy centers on treating the whole person — not just the disease — and providing honest, empathetic communication throughout the cancer journey. Dr. Nidhiry seems to be a very competent and compassionate doctor. Cancer is a complex illness and there is an overload of info to digest and understand. He answered all my questions and I still have a lot to learn.

I arrived early and was taken back early. Love Micah in the lab - one of the best blood drawers I have ever had. Dr. Nidhiry always Is respectful and answers all questions regarding the complicated subject of why are my blood counts so low and tries to make things understandable, which my husband and I appreciate.
