Carmen N Tran, MD

Carmen N. Tran, M.D., is a hospital medicine physician with Norton Hospitalists. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados, and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. She is board certified in internal medicine.

As a hospitalist, Dr. Tran’s goal is to provide comprehensive medical care to her patients in the hospital setting. Her care philosophy is to treat patients with the same respect and kindness that she would extend to her own family. She feels that this guiding principle underscores every interaction, diagnosis and treatment plan, so that each patient receives not only the best medical care, but also the warmth and empathy they deserve.

Dr. Tran is originally from Texas. She decided to become a doctor from her desire to help others and make a difference in their lives. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of her three children and exploring new experiences as family. They enjoy outdoor adventures, visiting museums and simply spending quality time together.
