Candace M. Martens, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington.
Candace believes effective patient care begins with communication and understanding. She takes time to meet with patients face to face, explain their condition and discuss their treatment options so they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.
Outside of work, Candace enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, gardening, hiking, walking and swimming. She also enjoys painting, drawing and baking.
