Brittany N Stowers, APRN

Brittany N. Stowers, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Hospitalists. Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bellarmine University and her master’s degree in nursing from Spalding University, both in Louisville. She also earned a post-master’s certificate from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Brittany is dual board certified as a family nurse practitioner and an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. 

As a hospitalist, Brittany stands in as the primary care provider for patients who are hospitalized. She works collaboratively with specialists and other staff to care for the whole person and help get them back to their regular state of health and functioning. She prides herself on meeting patients and their families in their most vulnerable times, being a source of support and spending time connecting personally with her patients.

Brittany was raised in Louisville, and as far as she can remember, she wanted to be a nurse. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life — spending time with her husband and raising their two children. In her free time, Brittany embarks on camping adventures and do-it-yourself projects.  She also takes pride in learning to play the mountain dulcimer, knitting and crocheting.
