Anupama Raghuram, MD

Anupama Raghuram, M.D., is an infectious diseases physician with Norton Infectious Diseases Specialists. Dr. Raghuram earned her medical degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco in Recife, Brazil. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York, New York, and her infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center, New York.

Prior to joining Norton Healthcare, Dr. Raghuram held medical director roles with pharmaceutical companies, directed a large federally funded outpatient center for HIV care and initiated a PrEP program for HIV prevention. She has authored several peer-reviewed articles in the areas of HIV, vaccines and pneumonia.

Outside of work, Dr. Raghuram enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading, indoor spinning/rowing, playing piano and quilting.
