Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Anna N. Ertel, DNP, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Cancer Institute. Anna earned her master’s degree in nursing at Ball State University and her doctorate in nursing practice at the University of Cincinnati. She also holds certification as an advanced oncology-certified nurse practitioner.
Anna’s experience is in hematology/oncology in inpatient and outpatient settings, caring for patients with multiple types of cancer and blood disorders. Anna believes in a holistic approach to cancer care and treating patients as she would her own family.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys time with her family, hiking, traveling, cycling and running. She has participated in over 40 minimarathons and successfully completed two full marathon runs.
