Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Andrea P. Walker, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Hospitalists. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and her master’s degree in nursing at Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights.
Andrea specializes in hospital medicine. Her philosophy of care is to provide treatment for her patients the way she would want herself or a loved one to be treated. She knows that being in a hospital can be intimidating and bring out many emotions for some, so her goal is to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her son and being outside together. She also likes to try new restaurants around town, and picking up a good book to read.
