Ammar Al Jajeh, MD

Ammar Al Jajeh, M.D., is a hospital medicine physician with Norton Hospitalists. He earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo School of Medicine in Syria, and completed his residency at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, East Lansing. He is board certified in family medicine.

As a hospitalist, Dr. Al Jajeh plays a crucial role in coordinating care for patients admitted to the hospital. He collaborates with other physicians, nurses and health care teams to ensure communication and comprehensive treatment.

Dr. Al Jajeh is originally from Hama, Syria, a historic town where he developed a deep appreciation for culture, resilience and community. His passion for medicine began after he lost a loved one to cancer.

Away from the hospital, Dr. Al Jajeh cherishes time spent with his young son and daughter, who bring joy and laughter to his life. Fitness is a priority for him, and Dr. Al Jajeh enjoys stationary cycling and playing pickleball to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
