Alwalid Ammoun, M.D., is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with Norton Healthcare CPA Labs. He earned his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine, Damascus, Syria. He completed his residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Ohio, and fellowships in oncologic surgical pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York, and gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.

In his role as a pathologist, Dr. Ammoun examines tissue specimens under a microscope to identify and characterize disease. He specializes in oncologic surgical pathology and gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology. Dr. Ammoun is committed to the role pathology plays in connecting diagnostic information with clinical care.

Outside of work, Dr. Ammoun enjoys staying active through working out and playing soccer and tennis.
