Alexander G Digenis, MD

Dr. Digenis is a nationally and internationally recognized, board certified, plastic surgeon. He has over 29 years of clinical experience and is committed to providing the best level of care and customized surgical procedures of the face, breast, and body. He performs over a thousand surgical and non-surgical procedures annually, and customizes individual treatment plans to ensure that his patients will receive the most appropriate medical care for them.

Dr. Digenis received his surgical training at Vanderbilt University and completed an extensive fellowship in plastic surgery at New York University and the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. He then became a clinical professor in the plastic surgery department at the University of Louisville before starting his private practice in 1999. In 2023, Dr. Digenis built a state of the art operating suite, spa, and aesthetic plastic surgery center in Louisville’s east end. 

His cosmetic center has earned a reputation of excellence from both patients and peers across the United States and Europe.
