Samer Alnabhan, MD

Samer Alnabhan, M.D., is a hospital medicine physician with Norton Hospitalists. Dr. Alnabhan earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo School of Medicine in Syria. He completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Jacksonville. He is board certified in family medicine.

As a hospitalist, Dr. Alnabhan plays a pivotal role in coordinating care for patients during their hospital stay. He collaborates closely with other health care professionals, ensuring timely communication and comprehensive treatment plans.

Dr. Alnabhan’s expertise lies in managing acute medical conditions, including infections, cardiovascular issues, and respiratory disorders. He holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. His care philosophy includes using a patient-centric approach and listening to patients with empathy to understand their unique needs and concerns.

Away from work, Dr. Alnabhan finds joy in watching soccer matches, and has a passion for travel.  Exploring new cultures and cuisines rejuvenates his spirit.
