Dr. Mark G. Smith, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing at Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics. Dr. Smith has over 35 years of orthopaedic experience, specializing in shoulder surgeries, joint replacement, knee ligament and cartilage surgery, and sports medicine. He joined Ellis and Badenhausen Orthopaedics in 1993 and has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Louisville since 1994. Recognized as “Top Doc” by Louisville Magazine and Sports Medicine Person of the Year by the Kentucky Athletic Trainers Society, Dr. Smith has served as team physician for various sports teams.
