Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Kristi M. Warren, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Cancer Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing in Lexington, and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Tampa in Florida. Kristi completed post-master’s training in adult-gerontology acute care at the University of Kentucky, and also certified as a registered nurse first assistant.
Kristi specializes in endocrine surgery and works closely with endocrine surgeons to manage patients with disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands and related structures. She is involved throughout the entire surgical journey, including preoperative evaluation and education, intraoperative assistance, postoperative management and long-term follow-up.
Kristi’s patient care philosophy emphasizes compassion, respect and clear communication. She strives to ensure patients feel heard, supported and confident in their care while providing expert clinical guidance and reassurance during challenging moments.
Outside of work, Kristi enjoys traveling, hiking, staying active, and spending quality time with her daughter and family.
