Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Kalyn N. Churchill, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. Kalyn earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kentucky State University in Frankfort, and her master’s degree in nursing from Spalding University in Louisville. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Kalyn provides primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on older adolescents to geriatric patients. Kalyn treats a variety of medical conditions and emphasizes health education and illness prevention through lifestyle. She is particularly passionate about educating teens ages 16 to 18 on safe sex practices. Kalyn’s goal is to make a lasting impact on her patients’ lives by being an active listener and working with them to create personalized health plans through shared decision-making.
Outside of work, Kalyn enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two children. She loves being a sports mom, cheering on her daughter at travel softball games, and traveling to different countries with her husband.
