Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Gladell E. Cima, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates – Geriatrics. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, and her master’s degree in nursing from the UofL School of Nursing. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult nurse practitioner.
Gladell’s philosophy of care focuses on empathy and patience. She believes in listening to patients and making sure they feel heard and supported. She wants each person to know their health is her top priority. Her goal is to help patients stay as healthy as possible and improve their quality of life. She has experience in primary care and geriatrics, treating acute and chronic illnesses, and has worked in walk-in clinics, long-term care and house call settings.
In her free time, Gladell enjoys spending time with her son and grandchildren. She also loves her cats, reading devotional books, and anything related to her faith.
