I have had several doctors over the course of my life and truly feel Dr. Truong has been the best I've ever seen. She actually listens, shows concern, and has addressed issues I had stopped even talking about due to prior healthcare providers seemingly shrugging it off. A recent example was me making jokes about being clumsy and falling. This prompted her to ask probing questions which ultimately led to the discovery of me having an irregular heartbeat and she referred me to a cardiologist. This Is something I have brought up for well over a decade to other healthcare providers but she Is the only one who took It seriously. I am honestly impressed by her ability to pick up on things and know when something needs further looking into or when something is considered normal. In all visits, she has taken time to explain things and answer questions. I have never left an appointment feeling like I didn't understand something or that I wished I had asked more questions because she genuinely does such a great job at covering everything. I feel she thinks outside of the box at times and because of that, is able to come up with various solutions and treatment options when needed. She recommended a gene test for me and allowed that to be my decision. I ultimately decided to try it and through that, found a medication that has, so far, genuinely changed my life for the better. There have been times I've had to face some potentially scary things regarding my health and even when referrals are made, she's made it clear she'll continue to monitor everything and will be there if I have questions. I have never had a doctor so supportive and genuine. I am so beyond grateful for having found Dr. Truong.
