Anne Yang, M.D., M.S., is a pulmonary and critical care physician with Norton Pulmonary Specialists. She earned her medical degree from the University of Queensland Medical School in Australia, and completed her internal medicine residency, pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship, and T32 postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Yang provides care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary conditions in hospital and outpatient settings, as well as critically ill patients in intensive care. Her clinical approach combines evidence-based medicine with a multidisciplinary perspective, allowing her to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s individual needs, goals and circumstances. Dr. Yang believes in working collaboratively with patients and their care teams to develop individualized treatment plans that supports their health and quality of life.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Yang has a strong background in pulmonary research, including clinical trials evaluating COVID-19 therapeutics, and translational research examining COPD heterogeneity and multimorbidity. She is passionate about connecting advances in research with clinical practice to help improve outcomes for patients with complex lung disease.

Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys attending live music events, gardening and traveling.
