Biography/ Philosophy of Care
Alicia A. Sawyer, APRN, is a family medicine nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisville School of Nursing and her master’s in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing.
Her goal is to focus on the patient as whole, mentally and physically, and provide primary care services that support her patients in living a healthier lifestyle. She strives to make her patients feel comfortable in her office space.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family. She has a daughter in college who is studying to become a nurse practitioner. She also has a son who keeps her busy with multiple sporting events. When she has free time, she enjoys reading a good book and spending time with friends.
