Katharine E. Adelstein, APRN, is a nurse practitioner specializing in behavioral oncology. She earned her master's degreein nursing from Yale University School of Nursing in New Haven, Connecticut. She also is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Kate's primary area of clinical expertise is oncology with a focus in behavioral oncology, palliative care and end-of-life concerns. As a provider, her primary goal is to offer support to patients and their families as they navigate the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. When not caring for patients, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter. They have two dogs, three chickens, and one cat keeping them busy outside. She also enjoys cooking, reading and watching reality tv.
