Alexandria J. Bassler, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Cardiothoracic Surgery. She earned her doctoral degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, Lexington. Alexandria's experience as a pulmonology critical care nurse led to her specializing as a thoracic surgery nurse practitioner. Her goal as a provider is to provide patient- and family-centered care while using her knowledge and experience to provide holistic, appropriate and timely treatments and interventions. In her spare time, Alexandria enjoys spending time with her daughter, enjoying being outside, traveling and going on adventures. Alexandria also takes a health clinic trip once a year to Ecuador, where she sees patients in areas with little access to health care.
